NC officer-bearers’ meeting underway at Singha Durbar



KATHMANDU: An office-bearer meeting of the ruling Nepali Congress (NC) is underway at Singha Durbar.

The meeting has been called to dwell on the selection of the ministers to participate in the cabinet and the 14th General Convention of the party, a leader close to NC President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba said.

Prime Minister Deuba has already appointed NC leader Dr Narayan Khadka as the Foreign Minister.

The meeting is also discussing to amend the general convention schedule.

The leaders have said that the expansion of the Council of Ministers will also be discussed in the meeting.

The General Convention of Non-Resident Nepalis will also be discussed in this meeting.
