Unified Socialist Chair Nepal advocates for left-democratic alliance to counter UML in election



KATHMANDU: CPN-Unified Socialist Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal has advocated for the left-democratic alliance for the general election to counter the regressive activities of CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli.

Addressing a virtual program organized in memory of Sahana Pradhan on Wednesday, the Unified Socialist Chairman indicated that he was for an alliance of progressive alliance to counter UML in the next election.

Chairman Nepal said that his party would soon join the Deuba-led government and would continue the current ruling coalition even after the election.

“We have formed a left-democratic alliance with five parties. This government will move forward with cooperation till the next election. We plan to extend it even further,” he said.

Nepal also informed that his party would soon form the government in Province 1 and Bagmati Province.
