NC Veep Gachchhadar making his stand public for General Convention

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) Vice President Vijay Kumar Gachchhadar is making his views on the forthcoming 14th General Convention public on Wednesday.

According to sources, Gachchhadar has called a press conference at Tinkune, Kathmandu, at 1 pm today.

Unlike his contemporaries vying for the post of party president, incumbent Vice President Gachchhadar is preparing to run for the post of vice-president in this general convention.

Gachchhadar had got his party Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (Loktantrik) merged in NC before the general election of 2017.

Along with other leaders, he was also allegedly involved in Baluwatar land scam and was spending an undeclared ‘underground’ life.

Gachchhadar was released on Rs 1 million bail on July 14 in the case.
