Maoist Center’s SC meeting underway at Paris Danda

To finalize list of ministers to participate in govt



KATHMANDU: A Standing Committee (SC) meeting of the ruling CPN (Maoist Center) is underway at the party’s central office in Paris Danda on Sunday.

The SC meeting which was scheduled to begin at 11 am today will finalize the list of Maoist Center leaders to participate in the government, said Maoist Center’s Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha.

The SC meeting will also dwell on political and organizational issues of the party earlier discussed by the Central Committee (CC) meeting held on August 14-15.

Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ had tabled political and organizational proposals in the CC meeting.

Prachanda included proposed schedules for the party’s convention ranging from ward level, province level to the General Convention within this year.
