PM Deuba meets delegation of Indigenous Stadium Construction Foundation



KATHMANDU: A delegation of the Indigenous Stadium Construction Foundation of Kamal Rural Municipality, Jhapa, has met with Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and Finance Minister Janardan Sharma Thursday.

The delegation submitted a memorandum to Prime Minister Deuba and Minister Sharma seeking support for the stadium construction.

Foundation Chair Hukum Singh Rai said a delegation, including five party alliance representatives in the government, submitted memorandum to Finance Minister Sharma seeking budget for the construction of the stadium. Rai added that both the PM and minister had committed to support the stadium.

The delegation comprised Nepali Congress leader Krishna Prasad Sitaula, former minister Keshav Kumar Budhathoki, NC Jhapa President Uddhav Thapa, among others.
