MAHOTTARI: The priest of a temple at Damhi village, Mahottari rural municipality has died this morning. He is Baba Baidehi Das, the priest at the Maharani Temple.
He was 125 years old.
Das has been working as a priest at the temple for 50 years.
He was trained in tantrism and yoga. Before taking over as the priest at the Maharani temple, he had been living in the forest at Sonasati Mata temple at Aaurahi municipality.
According to locals, Das practiced yoga and had never taken allopathic medicine even when sick.
