SC order on cabinet reshuffle confirms PM Oli’s working style is unconstitutional: NC Spokesperson Sharma

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress Spokesperson Bishwa Prakash Sharma has said that the Supreme Court’s order on cabinet reshuffle confirmed that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s working style is unconstitutional.

He said that the Supreme Court had rejected the series of the PM’s assaults on the constitution by revoking the expansion of cabinet after the second dissolution of the parliament.

Spokesperson Sharma said, “There has been a series of attacks from the Prime Minister on the constitution. Today’s Supreme Court order is a polite denial of that.”

He said the court had also drawn a line on the boundaries of a caretaker Prime Minister. “The Supreme Court has drawn the line on what can be done or not done after becoming a caretaker Prime Minister. This is also a lesson for the Prime Minister,” Sharma said.
