Nepal records 4,522 new COVID-19 cases, 41 deaths in last 24 hours

Kathmandu Valley witnesses 476 fresh COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 4,522 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 3,703 persons have tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 819 have tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 310 persons in Kathmandu, 99 in Lalitpur, and 67 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for the pandemic virus, making the capital valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 476 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, 41 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 4,954 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
