Maoist Center condemns House dissolution

KATHMANDU: The CPN-Maoist Center has protested the dissolution of the House of Representatives as an unconstitutional, undemocratic, autocratic, and regressive move.

A meeting of the party’s Standing Committee held at the party’s central office at Parisdanda, Koteshwor, Saturday drew the attention of all towards the ‘conspiratory’ moves of Prime Minister KP Oli and President. The Maoists have said that Friday midnight’s move was a continuation of the December 20, 2020, move.

The meeting also noted that the Supreme Court did not register writs related to President’s invitation to provide alternative government to political parties Thursday evening.

The party, discussing the recent political situation since December 2020 HoR dissolution till Friday midnight announcements, has appealed all to stand against the collusion of PM and President.
