COVID-19: India records new 254,395 cases, 4,143 deaths



NEW DELHI: India recorded 254,395 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 26,285,069.

Currently, 2,930,544 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 23,059,017 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 295,100-mark.

With 4,143 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 295,508, according to the latest figures collated by the Worldometers.

Broken out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 3,456,978 and infected 166,453,443 globally until the filing of this news.
