Hearing of writ petition filed by Madhav faction against PM Oli on Sunday



KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court (SC) has registered a writ petition filed by CPN-UML leaders close to Madhav Nepal faction against Prime Minister and UML Chairman KP Oli Thursday.

Chief of the writ division of the SC Baburam Dahal said that the writ petition filed on Wednesday has been  registered Thursday.

The writ petition will be heard on Sunday.

The disgruntled leaders of the party had moved the SC alleging the PM Oli for taking unilateral decisions, and taking action against the party leaders.

They have also demanded an order to stop the action being taken against 27 leaders, cadres and lawmakers of the House of Representatives.
