KANCHANPUR: Security has been beefed up in the district after Prime Minister KP Oli is arriving to lay a foundation stone for an industrial area.

Security has been tightened in the district since Sunday in view of Prime Minister Oli’s arrival on Monday to lay the foundation stone for Daiji Chhela Industrial Area, police said.

Spokesperson at the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, Deputy Superintendent of Police Amar Bahadur Thapa said that a large number of security personnel have been deployed in the district considering the visit by the Prime Minister.
