Health Minister Tripathi urges senior citizens to get inoculated

PARASI: The government is preparing to inoculate all people aged 60 years and older against the coronavirus from March 7.

Minister for Health and Population Hridayesh Tripathi said that the local levels are urged to submit the details of the senior citizens by February 28.

Laying the foundation of Panchanagar Health Post at Bardaghat Municipality in Nawalaparasi West on Sunday, Minister Tripathi said that vaccination drive would be carried out from the inoculation centers from March 7 while urging all the senior citizens to get inoculated.

On the occasion, he shared that the Nepal government succeed to receive the vaccines against coronavirus though even the developed countries were struggling to purchase the vaccines.

On a different note, Minister Tripathi stated that the government has accorded priority for the construction of the Sansarkot-Dumkibas road section as the federal project as an alternative to Daunne road to link the Lumbini and Gandaki provinces.
