KATHMANDU: The Prachanda-Nepal faction of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) is holding a protest assembly in Kathmandu against the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR).

The faction had announced a “show of strength” denouncing the KP Oli’s government’s move of dissolving the House on December 20.

Most of the roads have been blocked due to the rallies organized by the Prachanda-Nepal faction.

The traffic management has become chaotic due to the rallies and demonstrations, which have started from a dozen places in the capital. Rallies have come out from Maitighar, Balaju, Dilli Bazaar, Tripureshwor, Koteshwor, and other places.
