Two killed, five injured in tractor accident



KATHMANDU: Two people have died in separate road accidents in Saptari and Tanahun districts in the country.

An 18-year-old Ram Ashish of Kanchanrup-11, Theliya died after a tractor, Pradesh-02-01-001 Ta 0032, met with an accident near a canal on the inner road, said District Police Office, Saptari.

Other four people sustained injuries in the accident.

Similarly, a 36-year-old Keshav Darlami died in a tractor accident at Lyutpakha in Anbukhaireni rural municipality-2 on Thursday.

The accident took place when a tractor, Ga 1 Ta 3770, heading to Anbukhaireni from Chhimkeshwari turned turtle on Chhimkeshwari-Anbukhaireni road section.

Lila Bahadur Yadi of Anbukhaireni sustained injuries in the accident, said Police Inspector of Area Police Office, Anbukhaireni.
