NEPSE increases by 56.73 points today

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has increased by 56.73 points on Tuesday.

With today’s increment, the index has reached 2415.55 points.

A total of 4.97 million shares of 226 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 2.38 billion.

Shares of insurance, development banks, manufacturing, trade, and microfinance increased sharply today.

Of the 226 companies traded, the share value of only 12 companies declined.

Shares of Himalayan Distillery Company worth Rs 140 million were bought and sold. Shares of Green Development Bank increased by 10 percent today.

Similarly, shares of Janaki Finance and Rasuwagadhi Hydro have risen by more than nine percent. Despite the rise in the overall market, shares of Gorkha’s Finance have declined by nearly nine percent.
