Thick fog disrupts domestic flights for a while

KATHMANDU: Domestic flight services have been affected by thick misty weather for a while this morning.

Scheduled flights were delayed for some time due to thick fog that covered in mountainous districts and some districts in the Terai region, informed Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

Domestic flights scheduled for Biratnagar, Bhairahawa, Tumlingtar had been delayed for some time due to poor visibility caused by thick fogs.

Now the flights have started operating to those destinations after the weather improved, said TIA.
