Parroha Bolbam temple getting face-lift

BUTWAL: Sainamaina municipality is giving a face-lit to Parroha Bolbam religious site in order to promote religious tourism in Rupandehi district.

The gate and the temple of Parroha Bolbam temple are being reconstructed in an attractive design at the cost of over Rs 140 million.

“Parroha Bolbam temple is being reconstructed win the aim of developing it into the major religious destination of Lumbini Pradesh,” said Chitra Bahadur Karki, the mayor of Sainamaina municipality.

Bolbam temple has four major entrances and a roof which is 51-feet long, according to Karki.

Two-story main temple with a copper-plated roof in a pagoda architectural style along with an inn will be constructed in the first phase according to the contract signed.

These facilities will be constructed within years from now, said Karki.
