UML Chair and former PM Oli to organize reception on November 27



KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairperson and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is to organize a reception in Chitwan district on November 27 in course of the party’s 10th general convention.

According to UML publicity committee coordinator and Bagmati Province’s former minister Bijaya Subedi, UML Chairperson Oli will hold a reception for the general convention representatives. The major opposition party UML is going to hold its general convention from November 26 to 28 in Chitwan.

The inaugural function will take place alongside the Narayani River while close camp at Hotel Seven Star in Sauraha, it was shared. All the committees formed in the host district to hold the general convention successfully have been accelerating their works.

Committees for people’s mobilization, financial arrangement, office coordination, monitoring, publicity and transportation management have been formed in view of the upcoming general convention, shared people’s mobilization committee coordinator Devi Gyawali.

Welcome gates will be installed in a total of 35 places along the major highways and other auxiliary roads leading to Chitwan, he shared.

Over 600 vehicles will be used to facilitate the participants and public attending the general convention, informed transportation management committee coordinator Krishna Bhurtel.
