Nepal records 238 new COVID-19 cases, one death in last 24 hours

Kathmandu valley witnesses 130 fresh coronavirus cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 238 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 232 persons tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 6 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 90 persons in Kathmandu, 25 in Lalitpur, and 5 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the Kathmandu valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 130 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, one person has succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 370 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
