Police Headquarters transfers Kathmandu, Lalitpur police chiefs



KATHMANDU: The Police Headquarter has transferred SSP Sudip Giri as the Kathmandu Police Chief.

Giri was in the Central Bureau of Investigation.

Kathmandu Police Chief SSP Ashok Singh has been transferred to Bhairahawa Airport Office.

Likewise, Lalitpur Police Chief SSP Kiran Bajracharya has been transferred to the Police Headquarters.

He has been replaced by SSP Yagya Binod Pokhrel. Pokhrel was earlier at the Naxal Police Headquarters.

SSP Deepak Thapa has been transferred to the training department.

Similarly, Lumbini Police Chief DIG Mukundaraj Acharya has been transferred to the Drug Control Bureau.

He has been replaced by SSP Prakash Adhikari.
