KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court has paved the way for Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Managing Director (MD) Kul Man Ghising to work by refusing to issue an interim order in the writ petition filed against his appointment.

A single bench of Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana issued a show cause order in the writ filed by former NEA MD Hitendra Dev Shakya.

Shakya had filed the writ demanding invalidation of the appointment of Kulman Ghishing as the MD.
