Lightning kills 1, injures 3 in Baglung

BAGLUNG: A person has died after being struck by lightning at Jaidi in Jamini Municipality-7 of the district.

The deceased has been identified as 60-year-old Mum Bahadur Sarki, said District Police Office (DPO), Baglung. He died on the spot. Three others sustained injuries in the incident.

The injured have been identified as Sahabire Nepali, 60, Bipana Nepali, 18, and Lal Bahadur Nepali, 57.

They are undergoing treatment at Jaidi Health Post. Similarly, a buffalo was also killed in the incident, said local Bimal Sharma.
