KATHMANDU: Nepal is taking on Hong Kong in the second match under the 2022 AFC Women’s Asian Cup Qualifier today.
The tournament will take place at JAR stadium of Uzbekistan at 3:45 pm (according to the Nepali time). Nepal which is in Group F had faced a defeat by 2-1 at the hands of Philippines in the first match.
Nepal had a first meeting with Hong Kong in 1986 during which Nepal had lost 0-1 to Hong Kong. Similarly, during the second meeting with the same team in 1989, Hong Kong had defeated Nepal by 3 goals. Nepal is in the 76th position in the FIFA ranking while Nepal is in 101st position.
