Maoist Center’s SC meet begins discussion on distribution of duties among leaders



KATHMANDU: The ruling coalition partner CPN-Maoist Center has started discussions on the division of duties among party leaders.

A meeting of the Standing Committee held at the party’s central office in Paris Danda on Saturday began discussions to finalize division of organizational work related to the upcoming party’s national conference among leaders.

Maoist Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha said discussions started with target to finalize duties among leaders by Sunday morning as part of preparations for the upcoming national conference to be held on December 26, 27 and 28.

“The Central Committee had given the responsibility to the Standing Committee to decide on some organizational issues. We have begun discussion on those issues,” he said, adding that today’s Standing Committee meeting centered around those topics.
