UML’s Khanal-Nepal faction concludes provocative activities mar relations

Seeking 'clarification' against leaders deters unity

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML’s Khanal-Nepal faction’s meeting held in Kathmandu on Wednesday has concluded that the provocative activities and slogans party Chairman KP Oli faction has been taking ahead are likely to deter the party unity process.

According to sources, the meeting of the standing committee members of the Khanal-Nepal faction decided to remind Chairman Oli that provocative slogans against leaders will be counter-productive in party unity attempts made through the implementation of 10 point agreements.

“The meeting decided to draw attention of party Chairman Oli to stop the provocative slogans against the leader and work for party unity,” a leader of the Khanal-Nepal faction said after the meeting, adding, “The meeting also concluded that the letter sent to the leaders seeking clarification for using their free will has come as a hitch in the attempts for retaining party unity.”
