Maoist Center’s SC reiterates on the need to prepare and enforce common agenda

Schedules SC meeting for August 4, CC meeting for August 1



KATHMANDU: The CPN-Maoist Center has decided to call for a common minimum program for the coalition government.

Wednesday’s Standing Committee (SC) meeting of the party decided to form a task force to decide the minimum common program for the government.

According to Maoist Center leader Narayan Kaji Shrestha, the SC meeting decided to thank the leaders of all political parties for giving a vote of confidence to the government.

“With cooperation and collaboration from all we thwarted the regressive measures as well as the unconstitutional, undemocratic, arbitrary, intolerant and corrupt tendencies of KP Oli-government; hence, the party decided to thank all political parties for their support in the struggle against regression,” he said.

Leader Shrestha informed that the meeting discussed about the various precautions and measures the party has to adopt to make the government more efficient and effective.

Similarly, Maoist Center also decided to convene a meeting of the Central Committee on August 4 to discuss about the party strengthening campaign to be launched soon and a meeting of the Standing Committee on August 1 to prepare for the Central Committee meeting.
