UML reviving its aggressive youth organizations

Khanal-Nepal faction to revive PV



KATHMANDU: With rifting blame game going on between CPN-UML chairman KP Oli faction and senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal faction, the youth organizations formerly regarded as not needed due to their aggressive nature are being revived one after another.

According to UML sources, Youth Association Nepal, senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal faction is going to revive People’s Volunteer (PV), formerly dissolved after the party’s 8th general convention.

Citing it is necessary to revive the ‘energetic’ youth organization to counter the aggressive assaulting activities UML Chairman Oli faction youths might pose to them, the leaders of Khanal-Nepal faction have decided to revive PV.

Senior leader Nepal is scheduled to announce the revival of PV on Thursday.

Oli faction has already revived Youth Force Nepal and has various other youth organizations under the names like ‘Cyber Army’ and recently formed ‘IT Army.’

Khanal-Nepal faction has also formed Akhil Force including the energetic youths from All Nepal National Free Student’s Union, a student wing of the party.

The revival and formation of the youth organizations and provocation to be prepared to counter the opponents has started worrying the peace-loving public for the larger the number of such organizations, the higher the chances for clashes between different groups.
