KATHMANDU: Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has forecast heavy rain in Lumbini, Gandaki and Far Western Provinces today.
The Division has urged people to take precautions from possible landslides in hilly areas and rising water levels in rivers and streams due to rains.
The weather is changing across the country on Wednesday morning and it is raining in some places of Province 1, Bagmati and Gandaki.
Even in the afternoon, the weather is changing from generally to fully cloudy across the country and light to moderate rain is expected in most places. Heavy rains are expected in Lumbini, Gandaki and some parts of the Far-western states.
Similarly, there is a possibility of rain in most parts of the country with generally to fully cloudy weather at night. Likewise, the Division has forecast heavy rains in one or two places in Bagmati and Gandaki.
