Nepal Police transfers 16 DIGs and 15 SSPs



KATHMANDU: Nepal Police has transferred 16 DIGs and 15 SSPs Monday.

The transfers, which should have taken place in one year, took place in 14 months due to coronavirus crisis.

DIG Dhiraj Pratap Singh has been sent to the Central Bureau of Investigation. According to the Naxal Police Headquarters, DIG Mukundaraj Acharya was to take Singh’s place in Province 2.

Likewise, DIG Sahakul Bahadur Thapa, who was in the CIB, is sent to Nepal Police Headqarters Province Coordination Directorate.
