KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 2,297 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 1,584 persons have tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 713 have tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 285 persons in Kathmandu, 61 in Lalitpur, and 33 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for the pandemic virus, making the capital valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 379 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, 46 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 3.130 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
