Opposition alliance hold discussions at Deuba’s residence



KATHMANDU: The opposition alliance comprising Nepali Congress, CPN-Maoist Center, Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) and CPN-UML’s Nepal-Khanal faction held a discussion at NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s residence, Budhanilkantha to decide the upcoming strategy.

According to Nepali Congress sources, the meeting discussed on the further strategy of the alliance and agreed to strengthen the alliance.

The Monday’s meeting was attended by NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba and General Secretary Purna Bahadur Khadka, and Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, and leaders Narayan Kaji Shrestha and Dev Gurung.

Similarly, ruling UML’s Khanal-Nepal faction leaders former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal and Bhim Rawal, and JSP Chairman Upendra Yadav,  and Federal Council Chairman Dr. Baburam Bhattarai had also attended the discussion.
