OTJA demands end to misuse of journalist’s identity card



KATHMANDU: The Online TV Journalists Association (OTJA) has demanded an end to the misuse of journalist’s identity cards.

The Association’s move follows that there is increasing instances of journalist’s identity card being misused by non-journalists, according to a statement issued on Sunday by the Association General Secretary Pawan Phuyal.

There are instances wherein non-journalists have misused journalist’s identity cards to get facilities given to real journalists during the prohibitory order, said the Association.

The Association has urged all to inform about such misuse of journalist’s identity card (if any) to the concerned authority.
