KASKI: Two persons died in a road accident occurred on the Pokhara-Baglung road section. The deceased has been identified as Binod Malla, 32, Bhuktangle, Parbat while next is yet to be identified.
According to the District Police Office, Kaski, the unidentified deceased is a man aged around 44-45.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Subash Hamal informed that the accident occurred when the Pokhara-bound tipper (Province No.3-01-003 Ka 5173) from Parbat and a motorbike (Ga 20 Pa 6030) coming from opposite direction collided with each other at Annapurna rural municipality-3, Laxmideurali Patthardhunga in Kaski along the Pokhara-Baglung road section on Sunday evening. Critically injured motorcyclists died on the way to Pokhara for treatment, police said.
Tipper driver Suresh Majhi, 25, of Indrawati rural municipality-10 of Sindhupalchowk along with both the vehicles were taken under police control, Hamal said. Investigation into the road accident is underway, said the police sources. (RSS)
