Former PM Khanal’s health condition gradually improving



KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal’s health condition has witnessed gradual improvements, according to the former PM’s secretariat.

The senior leader of ruling CPN (UML), who is receiving treatment at Apollo Hospital in India’s New Delhi, has gradually recuperated, Khanal’s Personal Secretary Krishna Bhattarai said.

Now, Khanal has no fever, headache and cough, and the oxygen support given to him before has been removed, it is said.

The former PM was taken to New Delhi on June 16 for further treatment.
