President Bhandari’s message on International Day of Yoga



KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has wished that Nepal’s traditional Yoga be made widespread to make everyone healthy and happy adding that it would inspire all to enliven Nepal’s national pride.

In a message of best wishes to all Nepali brothers and sisters at home and abroad on the occasion of International Day of Yoga on Monday, President Bhandari has expressed the confidence that Nepal could be a major destination for scholars to study Yoga and the Tantra related sciences.

The President has said that the relevance of Yoga has further increased for the physical and mental well-being at a time when people have started developing mental issues due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
