KATHMANDU: Chandragiri Municipality in Kathmandu is to be sealed off for two more days. The municipality took a decision to this effect meant for breaking the chain of COVID-19 after the surge in cases lately.
Prior to this, the municipality area was sealed off for a week beginning May 15. Mayor of Chandragiri Ghanshyam Giri said that the municipality area is sealed off till 12 midnight on May 22.
People’s mobility from 6:00 am to 5:00 pm is strictly prohibited after the decision to seal off the municipality while all other services except for essential ones have been closed, Mayor Giri added.
