NC holding office-bearers’ meeting today



KATHMANDU: An office-bearers’ meeting of Nepali Congress is taking place on Wednesday.

The meeting to be held in Budhanilkantha will dwell on the preparations of the upcoming general convention of the party, informed Deputy General Secretary Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat.

According to Mahat, the office-bearers’ meeting will discuss the upcoming 14th general convention. The top-notch leaders are meeting today after some changes were made in the schedule.

A Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting held on Monday had made some changes in the schedule of the general convention.

The CWC meeting had extended the deadline of sending the list of active memberships of the party  to April 28 from April 13.
