NTV to telecast tri-national football tournament live



KATHMANDU: Nepal Television (NTV), the government-owned national television of the country, will broadcast all matches of Tri-national International Football Competition to be organized in Nepal from March 23.

Organizing a press meet in Kathmandu on Sunday, All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) informed that NTV and ANFA have signed an agreement that NTV will broadcast the matches live.

According to ANFA Spokesperson Kiran Rai, the national television broadcaster has got the authority to broadcast all matches of the event.

ANFA signed an agreement worth Rs 3.5 million with NTV on Sunday.

Nepal, Bangladesh and Kyrgyzstan will meet in the tri-nation football tournament to be held at Dasharath Stadium.

Nepal will face Kyrgyzstan in its first match scheduled for March 25.
