Joshi’s family refuses to accept government aid



KATHMANDU: The family of Nepali Congress leader Nabindra Raj Joshi has refused to accept the government assistance extended for Joshi’s treatment.

Joshi was hospitalized after he suffered from a brain hemorrhage and is currently receiving critical medical care at the Norvic Hospital, Thapathali in Kathmandu.

The government, a few days ago, had announced that it would provide Rs 1 million for Joshi’s treatment.

Joshi’s family, thanking the government for its gesture, urged to contribute the fund for the treatment of poor people.

They pointed out that many impoverished were losing lives for want of adequate funds.
