KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) Senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel has called a meeting of his faction Sunday afternoon to discuss the party’s internal politics and its future strategy.
Party leader Arjun Narsingh KC said the meeting to be held at Poudel’s residence in Boharataar in Kathmandu will particularly dwell on the party’s strategy adding, “It is high time the party focused on national politics and make a concrete decision.”
According to him, the NC was expected to play a leading and crucial role to protect the constitution and the House after the reinstatement of the House of Representatives.
He added that NC should not hesitate to take the lead of the government to give a way out to the current political stalemate.
NC Senior leader Poudel has been emphasizing that the party’s focus should be to protect the system.
