UML senior leader Khanal’s health condition normal: Personal Secretariat



KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister and senior CPN-UML leader Jhala Nath Khanal’s personal secretariat has dismissed reports concerning Khanal’s deteriorating health condition.

Issuing a statement Sunday, Khanal’s secretariat said his health condition is normal.

“Former Prime Minister Khanal’s health has seen some minor problems in the recent days,” the statement said, adding, “The situation is not as complex and sensitive as reported in the media.”

The secretariat has also urged the media to disseminate news only after verifying the facts, and confirming it with the family, and respect the personal right of any individual.

Stating that senior leader Khanal is actively involved in the entire program of the party committee, the statement added.
