One dies after falling off cliff



KAVRE: A man has died after falling off a cliff in Narayansthan hills of Bethanchowk rural municipality-3, Kavre.

The deceased has been identified as Niroj Rijal,26, working in Kathmandu University in Dhulikhel municipality. The incident took place on Saturday evening when he fell off the cliff while going to the toilet, said Area Police Office Inspector Yogendra Timilsena.

A joint team of Police and Nepali Army retrieved the body some 700 meters below the cliff.

The body has been taken to Dhulikhel hospital for a post-mortem. Rijal had reached Narayasthan in Bethanchowk for a tour along with three others on Friday night.
