Kathmandu Valley sees 49 fresh COVID-19 cases

KATHMANDU: As many as 49 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 36 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, 2 in Bhaktapur, and 11 in Lalitpur.

Meanwhile, Nepal recorded a total of 80 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,73,431 in the country as of Sunday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that the country has currently 1,494 active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, 121 people have recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

So far, 2,69,876 people recovered from the coronavirus infection.

Similarly, no additional deaths connected to COVID-19 over the last 24 hours, keeping the country’s death toll to 2,061.
