Ex-PM Bhattarai leaving for New Delhi for treatment



KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister and Chairman of the Federal Council of the Janata Samajwadi Party Baburam Bhattarai is visiting New Delhi, India for treatment.

He is leaving for New Delhi, India on Sunday through a flight of Nepal Airlines.

He had been undergoing tests and treatment at Nidan Hospital for a long time after being diagnosed with stomach-related ailments.

Bhattarai is visiting the Indian Capital City for treatment at the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences after doctors suspected him of having a neuroendocrine tumor.

Former Prime Minister Bhattarai will be accompanied by former minister and his wife Hisila Yami and central member of the Janata Samajwadi Party and his press advisor Bishwadeep Pandey.
