FNCCI to provide initial capital to fifty startups



KATHMANDU: The newly-formed Startup and Innovation Committee of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) is set to assist Nepali startups.

The committee is going to help the entrepreneurs who have a business plan with new thinking but no capital and business action plan.

The first meeting of the committee has decided to provide initial capital to fifty startups. These startups will be supported through the Investor Forum.

The committee will decide on the procedure of business selection and support later.

Meanwhile, the committee formed under the convenership of FNCCI Executive Committee member Ranjit Acharya has got a full shape.

Siddhanta Raj Pandey and Suman Shakya have been appointed as Co-President of the committee. Prakash Dev Palikhe, Niraj Khanal, Dipendra Chaulagain, Mausami Shrestha, Sumana Shrestha, and Swarna Tamrakar have been selected members.
