Bad weather hits flight service in Humla



HUMLA: The flight service has been affected in Humla district for the last two days due to winds blowing at Simkot and thick fogs in Terai.

Nepalgunj airport has poor visibility due to thick fogs while there are no aircraft at Surkhet which have resulted in the disruption in the flight services, said sources.

“The flight service has been hit in Humla for the last two days due to winds that have been continuously blowing at Simkot while Nepalgunj airport is covered in thick fogs, said Bishnu Prasad Adhikari, the chief of Civil Aviation Authority, Simkot.

No flights have taken place to Simkot from Nepalgunj due to bad weather, said Adhikari.
