Govt to administer Pfizer to children from Dec 28



KATHMANDU: The Nepal government is making preparations to administer Pfizer vaccines to the children in 20 districts from December .

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the Pfizer vaccine will be administered in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Kavre, Chitwan, Sindhuli, Dadeldhura and Surkhet from December 28 to January 6.

The vaccine will be administered in Jhapa, Morang, Sunsari, Saptari, Dhanusha, Parsha, Kaski, Baglung, Rupandehi, Banke, Dang and Kailali after January 6.

Moderna vaccination campaign was started from yesterday in 57 districts. Pfizer vaccine will be administered in the rest of the districts, the ministry said.
