KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Nepal Communist Party General Secretary Netra Bikram Chand have held a meeting at Prachanda’s residence in Khumaltar.

The meeting between the two leaders took place at a time when the unification between the Maoist Center and the Biplav-led NCP has been the talk of the town.

Sources have said that leaders Prachanda and Biplav in the meeting dwelled on moving ahead together and the possible outlet to the existing political stalemate the country is facing.

Maoist Center Spokesperson Krishna Bahadu Mahara, who has been taking the initiative in forging unification between the two parties, was also present in the meeting.

Mahara took Biplav to the Prachanda’s residence this morning, it is learnt.
