Unified Socialist to join Pradesh 2 govt with two ministries



KATHMANDU: Top-notch leaders of major political parties have started focusing their attention on Pradesh 2, of late.

CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Nepal is set to visit Janakpur after CPN-UML Deputy General Secretary Bishnu Paudel, Former Finance Minister Surendra Pandey, CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda left the provincial capital after conducting political programs.

Unified Socialist Chairman Nepal will visit Janakpur on November 23, informed Unified Socialist Province 2 Committee. Nepal is scheduled to address the program to be held at Tinkoriya and welcome over 200 leaders and cadres to the party.

Nepal will also address a mass meeting to be organized at Lahan on November 24, said Unified Socialist of Pradesh 2, Dharmadev Sah.

Meanwhile, the Unified Socialist is making preparations to join the Pradesh 2 government.

The Unified Socialist is likely to get the Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Forests and Environment and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law, according to leader Dharma Dev Sah.

Shatrudhan Mahato will lead the Ministry of Forest and Environment, Pramod Yadav will look after the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law while Nagendra Sah will be appointed as a state minister.

Preparations are underway to administer the oath of office and secrecy to the recommended ministers, said Unified Socialist on Sunday.
